I had a great stay at this hotel at the top of the Royal Mile. The rooms were ultra comfy and cozy, located in a historic building in a fantastic location. However, accessing them with a narrow, spiral staircase can be a bit challenging, especially with luggage.

The location is superb, right at the top of the Royal Mile. Although it was disappointing to have to sleep on the foot side of the bed, the convenience of the central location overshadowed this issue.

7.6/10
The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town, a great spot surrounded by all travel links and amenities. Rooms were ready early and had everything necessary for a short stay. The service was friendly but lacking in response to requests. I found the location unbeatable, and the dining experience, while basic, was satisfactory. It delivers value for money but leaves room for improvement in certain areas.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, and the communication from the staff was excellent. However, there were some cleanliness issues with used towels left in the bathroom, which was a bit disappointing.
