aggressive communication lack of assistance

the room was very clean and nicely decorated. the wifi was excellent.

I found the lack of on-site staff problematic. There was no real assistance available when needed. the communication felt quite aggressive with a lot of information on fines. i also expected the room to have been cleaned, i was told they were 'sorry that i expected that'.

tea station lovely touch

the room had a tea and coffee station with a welcome box full of biscuits this was a lovely touch i found the location amazing literally on the doorstep of the royal mile. the communication from the staff via email was really good i asked for the room to be ready a little earlier and.

Balanced stay near attractions

central location clear instruction easy access spiral staircase missing shelf slippery stairs

The location was very central, close to the attractions. I found it easy to find the place, tucked away as it was. The instructions were clear, and reading them beforehand was important.

The spiral staircase reminded me of a deathtrap. I noticed there was no handrail or rope for support. The worn wooden stairs seemed slippery when even slightly damp. The bathroom lacked a shelf, so there was nowhere to put toiletries.
